The Lindsborg Community Library welcomes you! Stop by and and pick up a book by a favorite author, or spend a little time browsing the used book store. We have a wide variety of titles and authors for you to select from.
What Your Library has to Offer
Magazines: The library maintains a wide variety of popular magazines, subjects ranging from home decorating to current world news .
Newspapers: The Lindsborg News and Record, the McPherson Sentinel, and the Salina Journal, are available for patron use.
Heritage Room: Books about the Lindsborg Swedish heritage and culture keep the history of this community easily accessible to the public. This collection also contains interesting information on family lineage and homesteading information.
Kansas Collection: A wide variety of books about the nature and people of Kansas and life on the plains, as well as books by Kansas authors are available.
Large Print Books: We have a nice selection of large print books available.
Videos: This collection includes family and children’s videos
Audio Books: Books on tape and CD, include romance, comedy and mystery.
Services Offered at the Library
Library Cards: Any person residing in the Lindsborg area is eligible to apply for a library account. Library cards are issued to each patron for no charge. Patrons will be charged $5.00 for a replacement card.
Check Outs: Books may be checked out for 3 weeks. Magazines, movies and reference books can be checked out for 1 week.
Interlibrary Loan: If the library does not have your choice of materials, they can be borrowed from another library for your use. There is no charge for this service.
Copy Machine: Copies are 10 cents per copy.
Computer Services: Internet or Typing. Computer use is free of charge. Printing charge is 10 cents per page. Anyone under 16 years of age needs to be accompanied by an adult to use the computers.
Did You Know…
The State of Kansas subscribes to many internet databases. The use of these databases is free of charge to holders of a Kansas State Library Card. Ask about obtaining this card at the library. It is a simple and free service that we offer to our patrons. The login link for this site is www.kslc.org. Databases offered, cover a wide area of topics. There are no charges for these databases, and it only takes a few minutes to sign up for your State Library Card.
